The brief
The customer wanted a very crisp and contemporary identity, with collateral & packaging design linked to a spectrum of sports. Their product range was primarily targeted at people opting for elective orthopaedic procedures, to protect from or repair damage arising from sports-related injuries.
The design and visual language was to reflect a contemporary, very non-medical look, one that captured attention instantly, without losing the essence of the products and the precision engineering that was behind them.
Our solution
We commenced with the identity, giving it a modern, tweaked typeface that allowed for flexibility in the adaptations to further extensions, collateral and packaging.
We created an image library of the typical sports that we needed to project across the communication. The next step was to align the technical data with the imagery and secondary typeface, to create the packaging and the collateral.
